As you may know, last Friday was my birthday, so I spent the weekend celebrating. On Saturday my friends and I went to a black tie brunch party which is modeled after the brunch parties in New York. I never turn down an opportunity to dress up (or bottomless mimosas!) and saw it as a perfect opportunity to break out my favorite dress.
This dress was a total steal. I saw it in the window of a boutique I’d never been in and tried it on on a whim. It’s now my go to dress for events and it was $60! Amazing. All of my friends have seen this dress multiple times since I’ve worn it to many work functions and weddings. I do get the occasional odd question from someone wanting to know if I’m wearing something under the blue lace…
Anyway, I also love these shoes (another sale find!), especially the back. It’s great how they tone down the sweetness of the dress.
