Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!  It has been a good and productive week, and I’m looking forward to this weekend.  My only plans are to go to the latest Girl Talk Series event that my friends have organized to hear from some of the top PR ladies in Atlanta about pitching myself and my blog.  Other than that, I will lay low and try to get in a little pool time! What are you up to this weekend?

I do Friday Favorites about once a month and here are some things I’m loving right now.

Sunday Meal Prep: I’ve gotten into preparing my meals for the week on Sunday.  With about an hour or so of prep, I can make sure I eat healthy food all week.  I’m still experimenting with new recipes, but this is one of my favorites:  Pesto Salmon and Italian Veggies in Foil.  What are some of your favorite healthy recipes? Please share!  I’m always looking for new ones to try.

Zara suede jacket: I just ordered this jacket for fall.  Even though it is under $100, the faux suede looks and feels so much more expensive.   I plan on wearing it with everything!

J. Crew’s new arrivals: J. Crew has been on point for the past few seasons and this fall is no exception!  There are so many pieces I want (#alltheleopard), like this skirt, my favorite camel blazer in another color, and these cropped sailor pants.  I’ve shared more of my favorites below.  Now, I just have to wait for a coupon code!

PurSteam portable steamer:  #gamechanger  I converted to using a steamer a while ago (not that you would know it from my last two posts, lol!).  This portable steamer is about 8 inches tall, very powerful, and easy to pack.  I will never leave home without it.

I’ve also gotten some great outfit inspiration from my fellow bloggers over the past few weeks.  I obviously have fall on the brain since I’m pinning lots of fall fashion these days.  I can’t wait for the cooler temps!

Amy Ann’s striped rocker chic outfit.  How great is her off the shoulder stripe top?!  I will definitely be copying a non-maternity version of this outfit soon.

I can’t believe this gorgeous black lace dress on Corporate Catwalk is $70!   I think I will be checking it out at my local Zara this weekend.  It is perfect for a night out or a wedding, especially with a nude sandal and leopard clutch.

Blaire’s military vest outfit.  A military vest is one of my closet staples and I love how Blaire paired it with stripes and leopard.  It is a perfect casual chic outfit for fall!
