I hope your week is going well!  The highlight of this week has definitely been meeting my best friend’s baby for the first time.  We live in different cities and I’ve seen pictures, but nothing compares to seeing and holding her!  A lot of my friends have a had babies recently, but I don’t know why this one affected me more.  Maybe it’s because we’ve known each other since preschool?  Anyway, my friend’s daughter was so cute and it was definitely the highlight of the week.

When I saw this Loft black twist back sweater in the new arrivals section, I knew that it would be a great option for fall.  It didn’t matter that is was still 90+ degrees outside.  Several retailers offered versions of this sweater last year and I missed out.  This year, I was determined not to make the same mistake.  While my version is from Loft, I actually found an identical sweater for less for you (my loss, but your gain!).   This Loft black twist back sweater is perfect for nights out in the fall (and winter).  It is versatile and can be worn on or off (one) shoulder if you want a slightly sexier look.  In these photos, I’ve sized up for a more slouchy look.  If you want more coverage, I would recommend a black cami underneath, which would add coverage without adding a contrasting color.
