I hope you had a great weekend! I spent the weekend in Cashiers, NC for a relaxing and much need mini-vacation. It is amazing what getting away from Atlanta for a weekend can do. I’m a firm believer that you have to put yourself first in order to be able to help others. I was so tired coming into the weekend that I fell asleep as soon as I got in the car. I’m definitely trying not to let myself get back there…
Anyway, it is no secret that I love a good blazer. I actually bought this J.Crew Dover blazer last year and honestly didn’t wear it that often. After I wore this outfit to work last week (with non-ripped jeans), I can’t tell you how many compliments I received on this J.Crew Dover blazer. The color is so pretty! Even though it looks beautiful with white in the summer, I can also see it looking great with gray for a nice pop of color in the drab winter months.
When I saw that J. Crew brought this jacket back and as part of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, I knew that I had to pick it up in another color. I spent all of last week waiting for the sale to open up to the public since I think I might be the only blogger that doesn’t have a Nordstrom card for early access. Since I don’t really need anything, my philosophy is that if what I want is in stock, it is meant to be. Otherwise, there is something better around the corner for me. Luckily, I was able to get it in black!
