I hope you had a great weekend!  I had a great opportunity to speak to a group of high school students about several lessons I’ve learned since graduating.  I always find it so exciting and inspiring to speak to students and these guys asked such great questions.  It was a highlight of the weekend, especially against some of the tragic events earlier in the weekend.

It is crazy to think that Thanksgiving is next week!  Thanksgiving is a pretty casual day in my house and I normally wear an easy dress or jeans that have some give in case I eat too much, lol!  I picked up this Ann Taylor cascade sleeveless vest a few weeks ago and can’t believe it’s taken me this long to feature it on the blog.  It is a perfect layering piece for fall/winter.  I think it might make an appearance next Thursday as this is a great casual Thanksgiving outfit.

I know I’ve worn these Flying Monkey jeans on the blog many times, but I’m excited to share that they are now available online at Bloomingdale’s.  These jeans are one of my favorite pairs.  They are so flattering, hold their shape so well, and are priced under $75!
