White on White for Spring

I can’t believe this is the first time I’ve worn this outfit on the blog!  I wear this or something similar pretty frequently in real life (no shame in repeating outfits!), but never thought to photograph it for the blog.  On Monday, I mentioned that I couldn’t believe it had taken me so long to get a camel blazer and I have to echo that today.  This Barcelona cami from Express has been pretty life-changing!  That may be a little strong for some, but let me explain.  For years, I would wear a t-shirt under a blazer like this and while that was fine, it never looked quite right to me.  Something always seemed a little off.  Have you every experienced that?

Fast forward to this past Christmas.  I picked up 2 of these camis, since I couldn’t decide what color I wanted for my company holiday party outfit.   The black one worked perfectly for that outfit (here), but I randomly threw one on under a blazer shortly after that and I was hooked!  I don’t know what it is, but this white cami just looks so much more polished than a white t-shirt (in my opinion at least!).  I’ve paired it here with a white blazer and my petite high waisted flare jeans, but the combinations are endless.  Now that I have the basics covered with black, white, and gray, I might have to branch out into a few other colors!
