I hope you had a great weekend!  I feel like I say this at the beginning of every month, but I can’t believe it is June 6th already!  The year is flying by.  I think it is time to revisit my goals from the beginning of the year and see how much progress I’ve made on them and then recommit to them.  One of my overarching goals this year has been to put myself first, not in a selfish way, but I firmly believe that you can’t help others if you aren’t feeling your best.  It is like they say when you fly.  You have to put on your oxygen mask before anyone else’s.  I think I’ve made good progress there, but definitely need to check in on the others.

Now on to fashion.  I bought this Banana Republic striped dress a few weeks ago and it has been such a versatile piece.  I have dressed it up with fun heels for dinner and worn it more casually like above for work.  Dresses are the easiest pieces when I am running late or can’t figure out what to wear!  I’ve paired this Banana Republic striped dress with another go-to piece, my Old Navy utility vest.  I think I’m going to pull together a post on all the different ways you can wear a utility vest and why it is such a key piece in your closet.  I find myself reaching for mine all the time!
