Last Thursday I had the opportunity to attend the Free Fab’rik Fashion Show, which was a great event.  Free Fab’rik is an organization in Atlanta that raises money through clothing drives and sales at their local boutique to help women get back on their feet though vocational training programs and mentorship.  The annual fashion show is one of their biggest fundraisers.  I think it is such a great mission and I’m always happy help organize a group for the fashion show.

I wore a dress to the fashion show that I have already worn on the blog (here), but every year at the show I always end up buying clothing or jewelry from the new collection previewed at the show (It’s for a good cause :) …).  I was immediately intrigued by this dress when I saw it on the rack and decided to take a chance on it, cutouts and all.  (Did I mention that everything in the boutique is under $100, except for the denim?!).  The dress originally had pink straps which threw me off a little, but once I cut them off, I realized I love this dress and it is perfect for summer.  You might see this on repeat! Don’t you love it when something you’re on the fence about ends up being one of your favorite pieces?

Don’t forget, today is the last day to enter the Francesca’s giveaway!  Enter it here.
