I hope you are having a great week! This week has been such a whirlwind and it’s only Wednesday. On Monday, I went to an amazing fashion show hosted by the store Jeffrey New York. I had so much fun and the fashion was beautiful but I didn’t take enough pictures to make a blog post (#badblogger – I promise I’m working on it!). Last night, I had my first blogger date with the wonderful Audrey from Lulu Linden. She is so sweet and I can’t wait to hang out with her again!
White jeans are one of my summer staples, so it was only natural to pair them with my favorite (only) chambray shirt for a summer version of denim-on-denim. I loved the result so much that this outfit might continue to make appearances after Labor Day. To complete the outfit, I added my new bag which I found on the clearance rack at TJ Maxx!! Actually, that is a little misleading as I stalked visited the bag everyday until it was finally marked down. I couldn’t believe my luck and I’ve probably used all of my shopping karma for the rest of year. Oh, well this bag is worth it!
Do you guys wear your white jeans after Labor Day or do you follow the rule of no white after Labor Day?

This is such a great staple outfit! I love chambray because you can do anything with it! I do wear white after labor day! I don’t think those rules apply anymore but I do stop and think twice when I do it. Looking fab girl!

Love this!! And that bag, my goodness, it’s lovely. I’m on the fence with the no white after labor day thing. Half of me thinks it’s a silly rule and the other doesn’t want to look out of place. I think it really comes down to the temperatures where you live.

This is one of my favorite combos (I wore a similar outfit last year – seen here!) and white jeans after labor day I’m still on the fence on that one. I feel like anything goes with fashion rules these days so why am I so hung up on such an old rule?
