I hope you had a great weekend!  I laid low and enjoyed some quality me time, which was much needed.  On Saturday, I treated myself to a day at the High Museum, our local art museum, to see two great exhibits, one on the rise of sneaker culture and one on Walker Evans, an amazing photographer.  If you are in Atlanta and have time, the Walker Evans exhibit, while small, is absolutely amazing if you are into photography.  This was the last weekend for the sneaker exhibit.

Now, onto the fashion.  First of all, pardon the wrinkles!  I didn’t realize how wrinkled my pants were until I reviewed the pictures.  Maybe it is the Southerner in me, but I LOVE seersucker!  In college and for years after, I had seersucker pants and shorts that I wore all summer.  For me, something about seersucker just screams summer.  Even though my style has changed since college, my love of seersucker has not.  When I saw these J Crew striped Rory pants online, I knew I had to have them.  I like to think of them as a pair of grown-up seersucker pants.  I was a little nervous about the culotte shape, since I haven’t fully embraced that trend, but they are very flattering (even though they wrinkle easily!).  I wore this outfit while on vacation in Napa, but these J Crew striped Rory pants can transition easily to work with a white button down or even a white blazer over this cami.  I know summer is winding down, but I can’t wait to get a few more wears out of these pants before summer is over (especially once I find my steamer!).
